Help Glen Innes Severn Council set the focus for the next 10 years

Our new Council has been elected so now's the time for the community to develop the next 10-year Community Strategic Plan.
Glen Innes Severn Council is inviting you to participate in a workshop seeking your input into the Community Strategic Plan (2022-2032).

What is the Community Strategic Plan (CSP)?

Most communities share similar aspirations: a safe, healthy and vibrant place to live, a sustainable environment, a caring and engaged community, opportunities for employment, reliable infrastructure, etc.

The difference lies in how each community responds to these needs.
The CSP is the highest-level plan that Council will prepare. The purpose of the Plan is to identify the community’s main priorities and aspirations for the future and to plan strategies for achieving these goals.

The CSP must be reviewed after each Local Government Election and the 2017-2027 CSP has been reviewed and a draft will be presented at the workshop for your consultation.

A workshop tailored for the Economic Development and Tourism focused businesses and organisations is to be held at the Glen Innes and District Services Club Auditorium, from 1.00 pm until 4.00 pm, Monday, 7 March 2022
