The Glen Innes Natural Resources Advisory Committee (GLENRAC) is proud to announce its 35th Anniversary, celebrating three and a half decades of dedicated service to the Glen Innes region.

Since its inception in June 1989, GLENRAC has been committed to fostering sustainable natural resource management and enhancing the well-being of our local community.

To commemorate this significant milestone of connection, conservation, and community, GLENRAC invites everyone to a special dinner event on Friday, November 1st, 2024 being held at the Glen Innes and District Services Club from 6:00 p.m.

GLENRAC CEO, Kylie Falconer, said: “This evening will be an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of the past 35 years, honour the people behind the progress, and look forward to a bright future for our region”.

“This will be a night of celebration, laughter, and looking ahead to the future”, continued Kylie, “so don’t miss your chance to be a part of GLENRAC’s 35 MARVELLOUS years and help us toast to many more!”

Guests will enjoy an evening of reflection, good company, and top-tier entertainment, including an unforgettable performance by renowned Australian poet and entertainer, Murray ‘Muz’ Hartin.

Known for his evocative and humorous storytelling, Muz will share some of his iconic pieces such as "Turbulence" and "Rain from Nowhere," embodying the spirit of Australian mateship and humour.

The event will be hosted by Monty Haron, a local ex-farmhand now known as “Australia’s Cheekiest Wedding Celebrant” who was also featured on ABC New England's radio story, Celebrating Love from the Farm to the City.

Monty's story of growing up in a country town, embracing his true self, and inspiring others will add a personal and heartfelt touch to the evening.

Tickets are $60 per person and available until 4:00pm Friday 25 November exclusively at the venue: Glen Innes & District Services Club, 120 Grey Street, Glen Innes, (02) 6732 1355. Dress Code is Coat & Tie.
