The Project will provide the foundational support to ensure that the Landcare Network continues to provide a community based natural resource management service in line with the Border Rivers-Gwydir Catchment Action Plan (CAP) and the Landcare Network’s Strategic Plan.
Project outcomes
The Project will support rural communities to:
Have confidence in the governance and viability of the Landcare Network;
Access information and resources relevant to natural resource management (NRM);
Be informed of opportunities to develop their knowledge and skills (such as events, training and extension activities);
Implement sustainable natural resource management practices in their local region; and
Successfully undertake NRM projects and activities.
