2024 Rural Women’s Day
GLENRAC has held Rural Women’s Day Events since 2013, attracting women from across our region to gather, learn, share, and connect.
Our 2024 Guest Speakers will include:
Maree Balmain - sharing her story about the realities of cancer treatment in the bush, mental health challenges and ultimately her story of survival and resilience.
Jess Walker - a Physiotherapist who specialises in women’s health through her Tamworth business Fit 2 Function
Belinda Hook - on the importance of regular breast cancer screening (BreastScreen NSW )
This year’s event is scheduled for the evening and will include supper.
Our local Shimmy2Support Inc. ladies will also be present to gratefully receive any donations you may have of personal care items to create Crisis Bags for distribution within our local community.
