CALCULATE THE CARBON EMISSION FOR YOUR FARM BUSINESS
We are now calling for Expressions of Interest for farmers to attend a one-day workshop hosted by the University of New England, Southern New England Landcare and GLENRAC.
Register your interest by 15 April 2024
Are you curious to know more about how your farm can benchmark your greenhouse gas emissions?
Find out about strategies to reduce emissions and improve carbon storage on farm?
Learn more about the process and how you can calculate your own carbon account for your farm.
Be future-ready.
The workshop will be delivered by Dr. Tom Davison, who has had an extensive career in livestock production with a focus on methane research and emissions reduction.
Tom will present an independent, research and fact-based workshop featuring a mix of learning and practical activities; you will also be helped to enter your own farm information to create your own carbon account.
What the workshop includes:
The workshop will feature a mix of learning and practical activities and you will also learn how to interpret a carbon account and consider options to address emissions for the future.
The carbon account will set a benchmark to show progress over time and can be used in on-farm decision-making.
